The majority of people of faith support abortion access.
Our voices must be heard.

The Faithful Majority for Reproductive Freedom is a national interfaith coalition. We are uniting to share our values that support legal abortion, and broader access to reproductive healthcare, by shifting the narrative on reproductive and religious freedom. We are working to ensure that faith leaders, congregations, and communities are equipped to speak out, act boldly, and center their faith in the ongoing fight for reproductive freedom.
Nearly 70% of Americans identify as people of faith.
Anti-abortion extremists are weaponizing religion to create an abortion access crisis. We have had enough.
Together, we’re taking action for reproductive freedom for everyone.
The Faithful Majority for Reproductive Freedom supports people of faith by sharing resources and by helping to shape public conversations among the following groups:
Faith-based organizations and denominations
Reproductive health, rights, and justice organizations
Advocates
Elected officials
Individuals
We Believe
Each of us must be free to hold our personal religious beliefs and practice our faith without government or religious interference.
For too long, anti-abortion extremists have distorted religion to justify abortion bans that violate our First Amendment rights. We envision a future where everyone can access compassionate, stigma-free healthcare, including abortion care, — no matter who they are, where they live, or what they believe.
We respect each other’s religious freedom and call on our leaders to protect reproductive and religious freedom.
Majorities across most religious traditions say that abortion should be legal in all or most cases.
