Religious freedom is for all of us

Beginning on January 12th 2026, Religious Freedom Week invites us to reclaim one of our nation’s foundational values and ensure it is applied to every person with fairness, dignity, and respect. It provides a powerful and necessary lens through which we can talk about reproductive freedom. This celebratory week enables participants to come together to reflect on how religious and reproductive freedom are complementary, while providing educational and religious resources that help reclaim the narrative on faith and reproductive freedom. We invite you to join us.

Religious Freedom Pledge

I affirm that true religious freedom means each of us is free to make personal decisions about our reproductive health, guided by our own faith, values, conscience, and well-being — not by a politician’s personal religious beliefs.

I pledge to speak out against the manipulation of religion to justify abortion bans and reproductive healthcare restrictions that harm our communities and violate both religious freedom and reproductive freedom.

I will not let my faith be weaponized. I will raise my voice to counter harmful narratives pushed by anti-abortion extremists who distort religion to impose their beliefs on others and deny people the freedom to live out their own faith traditions.

I pledge to activate and amplify the faithful majority — those who believe in compassion, dignity, justice, and freedom of conscience — so that no one feels alone, silenced, or shamed for supporting reproductive healthcare.

Together, I commit to honoring true religious freedom by protecting reproductive freedom — for all of us.
